The harbour is located at the mouth of the Ätran River, with marked navigation. The harbour is well protected from all wind directions and commercial shipping. Falkenberg boasts one of Sweden’s finest beaches, Skrea Strand, with sand dunes and indoor swimming facilities. It is also close to the largest department store in the Nordics, Gekås in Ullared.
