Åstol guest harbour
Åstols Gästhamn is located just north of Marstrand in the beautiful archipelago of Bohuslän on the west coast of Sweden. The harbour is one of the best-sheltered harbours on the west coast. It can accommodate around 80 guest boats, with both bow and alongside mooring options. The harbour fee includes access to Wi-Fi, toilets, showers (including a family shower), laundry facilities, tumble dryers, water, and barbecue areas. There are 75 electrical outlets available for an additional fee. Pre-book a berth through Dockspot.
Local heritage museum and a well-stocked general store that is open year-round. Fish and shellfish sales are available during the peak season. The island is a unique coastal community with dense settlements and narrow winding roads. There are also lovely bathing cliffs, a children’s pool with a water slide and saltwater pool, a playground located in a sheltered and blooming park, a football field, and a boules court. Utposten Gallery, an art gallery and studio, is located at the end of the harbour. At the westernmost point, you will find the Röda stugan – a unique viewpoint towards the North Sea. The Röda stugan is occasionally used as a gallery.
