Burgsvik guest harbour
The harbour is located 900 metres from the centre of Burgsvik, the main town in the scenic Storsudret region of Gotland. It serves as the central port for the five southernmost parishes on the island. The harbour has been recently renovated and expanded with new gated docks in 2020. Adjacent to the guest harbour, you’ll find a bathing beach, diving tower, a large seaside sauna, and Burgsvik’s Camping with restaurant. There is also a fantastic restaurant and bar with sunset views in the harbour called Guldkaggen by Allegrini.
In Burgsvik, there is a large grocery store, petrol station, café, iron shop with bicycle rental, restaurants/hotels, local brewery, gym, gift shop, library, and more. Along the coasts of Storsudret, there are sandy beaches, rock formations, unique meadows, and many nature reserves. Within 17 km from Burgsvik, there is also Hamra Krog eatery, Lars-Jonsson’s art museum, Nature-room, Körsbärsgården’s art gallery, Holmhällar’s Inn/restaurant in the forest near the eastern shore, and Maistregården’s restaurant at the end of the “beautiful coastal road” furthest south, where there is also a stone museum.
