Ellös guest harbour
Ellös is the largest industrial town on Orust with over 1000 residents and many summer visitors during the summer season. It is home to Sweden’s largest recreational boatyard and other businesses in various industries. In addition to its beautiful nature and proximity to the sea, the community offers excellent services such as grocery stores, banks, bakeries, a guest harbour, hotels, and restaurants. From Fröjendal, located north of Ellös, there is a car ferry to Malö where visitors can rent kayaks and explore the coastline.
The main town on the western part of Orust. The largest shipyard is Hallberg Rassy. Here, you can rent bicycles, go sport fishing, play mini-golf (2.5 km away), and visit excavations at the Stone Age Museum (2.5 km away).
