Elmsta/Älmsta guest harbour
Where the Väddö Canal meets Väddöviken, you will find Elmsta Guest Harbour. Since 2026, the harbour office has housed a summer café and a small general store, open whenever the harbour is staffed.
New for this year is a restaurant and pub located in the building next to the harbour office. The restaurant is open six days a week during the summer season and on selected dates throughout the rest of the year.
Within walking distance is the centre of Älmsta, offering a grocery store, marine supplies and spare parts, hardware store, health centre, pharmacy, bank, the Maritime Barrel Museum, and more. Public transport connections are available to Norrtälje and other parts of Väddö.
Elmsta Guest Harbour was established in 2007 and offers a range of facilities, including Wi-Fi near the café, showers, a sauna, toilets, laundry facilities, a sewage pump-out station, and waste disposal. Electricity and fresh water are available at the berths.
The harbour has approximately 50 berths and can accommodate vessels up to 30 metres (100 feet) in length. The harbour depth is approximately 5 metres.
The marina opens around Walpurgis Night (30 April) and closes at the end of September. During the high season, from June through the end of August, the harbour is staffed daily, as well as on selected weekends outside this period. During the low season, access codes for the showers and toilets are provided via SMS.

– Day rate: 130 SEK
– 3-hour rate: 70 SEK
– Alongside the outer side of the dock: 600 SEK
– Boats longer than 45 feet: 700 SEK
– Boats longer than 60 feet: 800 SEK
– Boats longer than 80 feet: 1200 SEK
– Electricity: 50 SEK per day
– Washing machine and dryer: 50 SEK per use
