Hjo Guest Harbour is located in the center of Hjo. The guest harbour is open from 16 May to 13 September 2026.

Low season: 16 May – 11 June and 17 August – 13 September.
High season: 12 June – 16 August.

Harbour staff on site:
High season: weekdays 8:00–20:00, weekends 8:00–10:00 and 17:00–20:00.
Low season: weekdays 8:00–17:00, weekends 8:00–10:00 and 17:00–20:00.

If the office is unattended, you can reach the harbour host by phone year-round at +46 503 350 85 (weekdays 7:00–16:00).

Number of berths: 14 berths with pontoons plus 6–8 berths along the quay. Additional available berths are marked with green signage.

You can easily reach Hjo by boat and moor in our centrally located guest harbour—right in the small wooden town by Lake Vättern. Here you stay close to restaurants, cafés, shops, a fuel station, pharmacy, grocery store, playgrounds, and other public services.

As a boat guest, you have access to showers, toilets, laundry facilities, and fresh water via the harbour office, as well as the possibility to borrow a life jacket.

Right next to the harbour area lies Hjo City Park – a historic green oasis from the spa era – as well as the family-friendly Guldkroksbadet with a sandy beach, free swimming in heated outdoor pools, and a sauna.

From the harbour, the sightseeing train Lok-Hjo-Motivet and the steamship SS Trafik (1892) depart for day trips on Lake Vättern. The tourist information office is located in the Culture Quarter, about 200 metres from the harbour, with a library and exhibitions about Hjo’s history – free admission.
