Kalmar guest harbour – Motorhome parking
Temporarily closed in the guest harbour – New Parking coming this spring!
Ölandskajen is being rebuilt and modernised for the future. The motorhome parking on Ölandskajen will therefore be closed from 27 January. Later this spring, a new motorhome parking with service will be completed at Skeppsbrokajen. The new car park will also be operated by Kalmar Guest Harbour.
Ölandskajen is being developed for the future
Ölandskajen will become an even more wonderful place, where the university, the city and the central station are linked – and where you can stroll in a welcoming guest harbour lined with cosy restaurants. As a first step, the quay and promenade have been renovated, and in January 2025 the second phase began. Pipes will now be replaced and adapted for future needs, for example to provide district heating for the new hotel being built in the harbour.
The work in Ölandskajen will last for two years with breaks during the summer. You can follow the work and read more about how traffic will be temporarily diverted on the Kalmar municipality website.
