Loftahammar Varv och Marina

The Vivassen estuary facing the sea and the marine environment are the attraction here. If you like boats and proximity to the sea, this place is perfect! Of course, the marina has the shipyard business as its main source of income and commitment – this means that at the beginning of the season it can be a nuisance or a delight that we are early in the morning and in full swing to launch boats!

The advantage of being in a marina is that you get to see lots of boats choosing Loftahammar as a depot stop along the east coast of Sweden every summer. All summer long, Vivassen is full of different vessels, Marstrom 32 or Marstrom Tornado from Marströms – or at the very least: Sven Yrvind’s minimalist round-the-world sailor.
