Piteå Västra Kajen i Södra Hamnen – Motorhome parking
A personal camping and guest harbour with a maritime feel and a central location, only 500 metres from Piteå centre. Here you’ll find shopping, museums, restaurants, and beautiful parks, as well as bike and walking paths. Our own Ship’s Café is open from June to August, offering delicious shrimp sandwiches and more. The ice-cream boat Elvira is located in the harbour. In our variety store “Ekomagasinet,” you’ll find a range of organic skincare products and other environmentally friendly alternatives. We also sell camping accessories from Kama and Rojo, as well as gasoline.
The pedestrian street is Sweden’s first car-free shopping street, established in 1961. The town hall with a museum still stands on the site designated in 1667. The church in central Piteå is one of the oldest wooden churches in Norrland, built in 1686. It was spared in 1721 when the Russian soldiers had their headquarters there, while the rest of the city was burned down.
