Vrångö guest harbour
Vrångö harbour is a highly popular and well-visited guest harbour with space for approximately 130 visiting boats. There is also a newly constructed day-dock for shorter visits. The harbour is well protected from wind and waves. From the wooden deck on top of the pier, you can enjoy the view and watch the sun set in the west. There is also a popular swimming dock available. On the protected side of the pier, there are ample spaces for tables and barbecue areas.
At the old pilot lookout, there is a beautiful view to the west and towards Vinga. Nature area adjacent to the harbour with hiking trails around the entire island and ancient remains. The walking trails around the island are very beautiful with diverse vegetation. If you want to swim from cliffs or sandy beaches, there are plenty of opportunities around Vrångö. Observation deck and bathing area on the outer breakwater in the guest harbour. Several dining options and grocery store. The playground is located about 200 metres from the harbour. On the eastern side of Vrångö is Mittvik, which is the island’s ferry terminal where Styrsöbolaget can take you to other islands or Gothenburg. Mittvik also has a café/restaurant and a sausage & hamburger kiosk. You can hold various activities in the large open areas in the harbour, or use the boules court. It is possible to buy fresh cooked crayfish directly from the fishing boats. There are grocery stores and dining options in the harbour. Several small summer shops are located on the pier in the outer harbour. The harbour is open between April 15th and October 15th, variations may occur.
